Newton was correct, the rays of light are not coloured

One of Isaac Newton's many great insights was that color perception could only occur through the interaction of radiant energy with your visual system. That is, all measurements of colour require some type of standard human observer in order to specify colour. This seminar will provide an overview of some of the characteristics of the "standard observer" and nonstandard observers in terms of colour specification and their perception.
